Drivers can now plug in to the fastest electric vehicle charging point in Scotland.
The company behind the station at Gretna Services hopes to tap into the fact that more electric car owners are making longer journeys on motorways.
It has been installed by IONITY, which is a joint venture between BMW Daimler, Ford and the Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche, which aims to increase accessibility for electric car drivers.
At 350 kW it is the fastest EV charger of its kind and is now Scotland's quickest EV charging station, say IONITY.
The company says the new charging station will "source 100% renewable energy, greatly reducing the environmental impact of a journey and providing peace of mind for environmentally conscious drivers."
In September, the Government promised to invest up to £1 billion in developing electric cars to help make the UK carbon neutral by 2050.
IONITY say they are planning to install 400 charging stations by 2020.
