The body of a man has been found in the River Tweed, in the Scottish Borders.

He was discovered at 1pm on Thursday 2 April near the village of Upsettlington, near Norham.

Police say he has not been formally identified, but the family of missing man Andrew Moriarty, who was reported missing from Kelso on 1 March, have been informed.

Investigations are still underway to understand the circumstances surrounding his passing.
