A pilot has died after a plane crash in north Cumbria, police have confirmed.
Emergency services responded to reports, at 2:50pm on Sunday, that a light aircraft had crashed north of Troutbeck, between Keswick and Penrith.
A man, who was the single occupant of the plane, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cumbria Police say there were no other casualties.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has been contacted and a cordon put in place around the site.
