An Indie Rock band started by two brothers from the Scottish Borders has signed to a major record label. And after sell-out gigs in America and at major UK festivals - they came back to Selkirk for a one off gig.
Jenny Longden met up with them before the gig and sent this report.
A band that started in the Scottish Borders is to return for a one off gig in their hometown.
Frightened Rabbit, who are already big news in the USA, and have just signed to major record label Atlantic for their fourth album, will play at Selkirk's Victoria Hall on 25th September
The four piece, two of whom are brothers from Selkirk, release their EP 'State Hospital' on the same day.
Lead singer Scott Hutchison and drummer Grant began a band in 2003, and released their first record on their own in 2006.He says they are looking forward to the gig.
