Having safe clean beaches is something that is important to health and the health of the local economies - which is why the Environment Agency has signed up to a new idea.
They have taken the message about how to wipe out accidental pollution into schools so that the children can then pass that message onto the grown ups.
To help capture the children's imagination they have employed the use of one particularly nippy beachcomber, a crab.
