A driver has sustained serious injuries after a car and a recovery vehicle collided on the main A7 road in Cumbria, near Longtown.
The accident closed the road for several hours between the A6071 Albert Street and Sandysyke on Tuesday 20 March.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service were called to the scene to assist North West Ambulance Service in cutting the driver of the car free.
The driver of the recovery vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Investigations are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call 101.

A man has been taken to Carlisle's Cumberland Infirmary, with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries, after a six-vehicle crash near the city.
It happened at around 10.30am on the A7 at Westlinton, involving several cars and one van.
Another man was also injured and treated by paramedics at the scene.

A man has died following an accident on the A7 near Camelot Holiday Park in Longtown, Cumbria.
A heavy goods vehicle was travelling towards Longtown when it crossed on to the opposite side of the road before leaving the carriageway last night, Monday 17 July, around 6.10pm.
The 48-year-old driver, who is thought to have suffered a medical episode, was unresponsive when found. He died after being taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
The road was closed for 4 hours. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses to get in touch by calling 101.
