Canadian singer, Bryan Adams, has announced that he will be joined by Canadian artist Michael Bernard Fitzgerald at his show in Bitts Park, Carlisle.
The show, on Saturday 15 July, will conclude the UK strand of Adams's 'Get Up' tour.
Bryan Adams is well known for his 1991 track, Everything I Do, I Do it for You.
An 80-strong choir made up of young people from Dumfries and Galloway and German twin-town Gifhorn are putting on a free concert.
The performance takes place at St John's Church in Dumfries at 6pm on Sunday
As part of their longstanding twinning relationship members of Dumfries and Galloway Regional Youth Choir are welcoming 40 young people from the Gifhorn Twin-Town Singers to Scotland to participate in a residential choral workshop in Stirling.
The choirs are working together on a variety of Christmas music over a four day period before heading to Dumfries for the concert.
As well as working on their music, the young people will participate together in various activities including quizzes, a ceilidh, and visits to a range of tourist attractions.
Rod Stewart's UK tour is heading to Carlisle next year.
The legendary musician will play at Carlisle United's Brunton Park stadium on 21 June 2016.

The singer and his band will be at the Westmorland County Showground in June as part of his European tour.
It will be the first time the star, who has sold more than 250 million records, has appeared live in the Lake District. He previously performed at Carlisle United's Brunton Park ground in June 2007.
