Local MPs back bingo tax campaign

Bingo is still a very popular pastime for many people but over the past few years there has been a drop in the number of people going to bingo halls, and that has led to some clubs closing.

The industry is now asking the government to help by lowering tax on bingo, to bring it in line with other gambling activities.

A number of local MPs have given the 'Boost Bingo' campaign their backing.
