A site near Flodden Fields has been transformed into a 16th Century encampment this weekend.
Medieval craft demonstrations, living history performances and re-enactments were performed in Etal.
The 2-day event was part of the Flodden 1513 project, remembering the battle 500 years on.
Among the activities in the grounds of Traquair House this weekend were demonstrations of how people lived in the dark ages, a e-enactment of James IV’s visit to Traquair and a royal pageant featuring horses and falconry.
