The M6 Southbound carriageway is now open following a crane fire on the hard shoulder of the northbound carriageway.
The M6 Northbound at J36 is still closed, but traffic is being cleared by one lane. Junctions 37 to 39 Northbound are now open.
The M6 Northbound carriageway at J36 is expected to be kept closed for several hours for recovery work. Diversions are in place.
The A66 is closed both ways due to an accident involving a tanker and a car between A595 Main Road (Chapel Brow Roundabout) and A595 (The Fitz Roundabout).
Recovery work is taking place as there is debris and oil spillage on the road. Slow traffic is to be expected.
An Emergency Road Closure has been put in place on the B7068 Lockerbie to Langholm road.
The route has been closed due to structural damage on one of the bridges on the route.
The road is expected to be closed for two to three weeks.
Dumfries and Galloway Council say repair works cannot begin until the water level drops to allow for further investigative work to take place.
A diversion has been put in place from the B722 (Eaglesfield) road and the B7076 (Lockerbie) road.
