Vandals graffiti swastikas over Lockerbie

A number of swastika symbols have been painted on vehicles and a wall in Lockerbie.

Officers are currently investigating the spate of vandalism which happened near McConechy's garage in the town between 12.30pm on Sunday and 7.30am this morning.

Constable David Noble said:

We are currently carrying out door to door enquires into this crime and we appeal to anyone in the community who may have any knowledge as to who is responsible for this disgusting act at this time of remembrance and reflection in our community, to get in touch with us at Lockerbie on the 101 number."
