“I’m excited to be performing at places I’ve never been to before, including Carlisle; it’s always good to visit new places. “I promise a good show in Carlisle. My singing voice is still as strong as ever, though as you get older, your voice gets lower and so my tone and range has gone from a tenor to a baritone. My lower tones are much richer than they were.”

– Sir Tom Jones

“Excitement is building in the city, as we get ready to welcome music legend, Sir Tom Jones. The show once again raises the profile of the city as a live music destination. We’ve hosted some great musicians in the past, but Sir Tom tops the bill.

“Carlisle is all set to welcome thousands of music lovers for the concert and the local economy will be boosted as we’re expecting fans to travel from around the country. ”

– Cllr Colin Glover, Leader of Carlisle City Council
