Olympic gold medallist and Tour de France Champion Bradley Wiggins will be cycling through Cumbria when the Tour of Britain comes to the county next month.
He's expected to be a huge draw for spectators on September 12 when stage 4 kicks off from the Old Town Hall in Carlisle. The Scottish leg from Jedburgh to Dumfries takes place the day before. It's hoped his appearance in Carlisle will encourage a new generation of young cyclists.
