One of the most important church ceilings in Cumbria is to be restored with a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

150 years of dirt and dust - together with a leak in the roof - have taken their toll on the painted plasterwork at St Bridget's Church.

However, soon it will be back to its former glory, as Derek Proud reports.
