Police and the Coastguard are continuing to search at low tide for 76-year-old John Allen, who was last seen in the Ravenglass estuary on Monday morning. It's believed he was trying to help his dog out of the water when he went missing.
A major search operation has been taking place for him involving up to 100 people and local volunteers. As the estuary is tidal, some of the searches can only take place when the water level is low. Mr Allen is from Preston and was holidaying in the area.
