Thousands prepare to brave the rain at Kendal Calling

Music lovers from all over the country have been arriving for one of the region's biggest festivals today.

Kendal Calling gets underway this evening, with organisers reporting record numbers

15,000 people are braving the rain on fields at Lowther Park near Penrith.

This year's line-up features well-known acts including Frank Turner, Example and Tom Odell. But there's also plenty of mud, as Matthew Taylor reports.
