Police in the Borders are appealing for witnesses following a number of thefts from cars in Earlston.

The thefts occurred over the night of Tuesday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 21 when four cars were forcibly entered.

Two of the vehicles were parked on the High Street, one parked in Thornbank, while a further vehicle was parked on Haughead Avenue.
