A Sherlock Holmes story, thought to be written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, has been discovered in an attic in Selkirk.

The story 111 years old and is believed to have been sitting in the attic for the last fifty.

The work is on display at the Cross Keys Hotel in the town.
