Dumfries-born Calvin Harris has entered the Sunday Times Rich List for the first time.

The 31-year-old DJ and producer, who is reportedly worth £70 million, is ranked joint 30th with Mark Knopfler and Pete Townshend.

Sir Paul McCartney heads the list. He is said to have amassed a personal fortune of £730 million - £20 million up from last year - despite not having had a UK number one single in decades.

The full Rich List, a 128-page guide to the 1,000 richest people in the UK and 250 wealthiest in Ireland, is published on Sunday.
