A hammer thrower from Cumbria has broken the British record, which had stood for 31 years.
Nick Miller, who was brought up in Carlisle, threw 77.55 metres at an athletics meeting in Sweden.
He broke the record, set in 1984, by a centimetre. His family were watching at home when it happened:
We're just absolutely overwhelmed, I haven't slept all night, really excited, so so proud of Nick and of course delighted for him because that's what he wants to achieve."
