A lorry driver had a lucky escape after his vehicle left the road and collided with a telegraph pole on one of Cumbria's busiest roads.
The incident happened in high winds and bad weather on the A66 near Kirkby Stephen yesterday.
Police said the driver, a 47-year-old man, was uninjured.
