Rain warning cancelled for Dumfries and Galloway

The overnight force of Storm Gertrude has had little impact across Dumfries and Galloway.

The Met Office have cancelled the Yellow warning (be aware) for rain that was issued yesterday.

River levels across the region peaked overnight but have since dropped and remain at a safe and steady level.

Warnings for 70mph winds are still in place until this evening and commuters should drive accordingly to the weather.
