A new newspaper has been launched in Cumbria for the first time in more than 20 years.
The paper, called '24', was printed on Sunday evening in Carlisle and is now on sale across the county and further afield.
It comes at a time when printed newspapers are in decline, with more and more people turning to online news outlets.
The new publication is part of the CN Group- which also hold titles including the Cumberland News, which recently celebrated its 200th anniversary.
Despite the downturn in newspaper sales, the Chief Executive of the group is confident it can be a success.
To succeed the '24' will have to sell around 10,000 copies a day.
