St Ronan's Games Parade in Innerleithen

Innerleithen's St Ronan's Day Parade begins at 11am today (Sunday 10th July), as the St. Ronan's Silver Band leads a parade along the High Street and on to the Parish Church for a special service.

The Games have been going since 1827 and are the oldest organised sports meeting in Scotland.

It's now part of a ten-day festival that incorporates many events for every age group.

Central to the festivities are the Cleikum Ceremonies when the town's association with its Patron Saint, St. Ronan, is celebrated.
