Thousands of exam certificates will drop through the doors of pupils across the South of Scotland today.
4000 teenagers in Dumfries and Galloway and 2500 in the Scottish Borders can expect the postman to deliver their SQA (Scottish Qualification Authority) results.
Derek Keir, Royal Mail's Head of Special Events Planning, said:
This is a massive day for every pupil in Scotland, waiting for their results.
All of our postmen and women, many of whom have children themselves, understand just how important this day is for families.
