Police name man killed in Cumbrian road crash

Police have named the man killed in a road crash at Roweltown on Saturday.

Alistair Dawson from Brampton, who was 34, died when his Nissan Qashqai collided with a tree on a back road near to The Crossings Inn.

His wife, Rikki, and family, have paid tribute to the ‘family man’:

“Alistair was such a family man who adored his children and his family. He was kind, funny and hard-working. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends,” she said.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101, and ask to speak to PC 2265 Jack Stabler of the Mobile Support Group.
