A rise in radiation levels has been detected at a former nuclear power plant in Dumfries and Galloway.

Chapelcross near Annan was Scotland's first commercial nuclear power station, but stopped producing electricity in 2004.

A new report from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency shows an increase in the radiation dose to the surrounding population - but the levels are still well below the UK safety limit.
