Councillors in the Scottish Borders have agreed that the Great Tapestry of Scotland will be displayed in Galashiels.
Councillors voted 26 to 7 in favour of Galashiels.
Tweedbank had initially been earmarked to hold the giant artwork, when it was put forward by the former First Minister Alex Salmond in 2014.
However, Scottish Borders Council has decided that Galashiels would be the most suitable place.
The location of where it will be displayed is not yet confirmed. It's estimated that it will cost around £6.7 million to build a new site for the artwork.
