Storm Barbara causes delays to ferry services

Due to the wet and windy conditions caused by Storm Barbara, a number of ferry services have been delayed.

The Stena Line service which runs from Cairnryan in Stranraer to Belfast is experiencing delays of up to 45 minutes:

Winter Storm Barbara has arrived and the UK is experiencing extremely wet and windy conditions. Unfortunately this is causing disruption to some of our scheduled sailings today (Friday 23rd December) and could possibly cause further disruption tomorrow too.

According to their website, PNO ferry operators, which sails from Cairnryan to Larne in Northern Ireland, are operating as normal.
