High value mountain bikes stolen from Innerleithen

Three mountain bikes, worth thousands of pounds, have been stolen in Innerleithen.

They were taken from a property on the B709 near Traquair Kirk, at around 12:10am on Sunday 2 April.

The bikes were taken from the rear of the vehicle that was parked in a residential driveway. They were placed into an unidentified vehicle which drove away in an unknown direction.

One of the bikes is a custom built EVIL INSURGENT full suspension gents bike, worth £7,000.

The other two are valued at £2,500 each and are described as boys' Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt bikes, and are registered with a company called Veloeye.
