Police are appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old boy was deliberately rammed by a bike in Silloth.

The incident happened on Silloth Green near Paramount Amusements, at around 8:30pm on 28 May.

Police say the boy was approached by a large group of young people, and two of them attacked him, deliberately driving into him with a bicycle resulting in his hand being fractured.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Cumbria Police on 101.

The force says they are getting an increasing number of calls in the Silloth area relating to anti social behaviour, and are asking parents to make sure they know whereabouts their children are in the evening.
