Copeland mayor set to launch £1million scheme for local businesses

The Mayor of Copeland, Mike Starkie, is set to launch a £million regeneration scheme on Friday 21 July.

The will go towards Copeland's towns and villages with £500,000 towards regenerating business premises.

Owners, landlords and tenants of units are able to apply for part of the funding, although priority will be given to the four main town centres of Whitehaven, Cleator Moor, Egremont and Millom.
