Four of Cumbria's MPs have written to Theresa May to hold a public inquiry into the death of 13-month-old Poppi Worthington.

A coroner concluded last week that the Barrow toddler had been sexually abused by her father, Paul Worthington, and died in 2012 when she suffocated in his bed following the incident.

Mr Worthington, 50, has denied any wrongdoing and has not been charged.

The letter has been signed signed by John Woodcock, Trudy Harrison, Tim Farron and Sue Hayman.
