Cumbrian hammer thrower breaks record

Cumbria's Nick Miller has broken his own British record days before the Commonwealth Games begins in Australia.

He threw a new record of 78.29 metres, breaking his previous distance of 77.55 metres during The Stanford Invitational competition in America.

Nick, who gained a Commonwealth Games silver medal in Glasgow four years ago, is hoping to go one better when he competes on the Gold Coast over the next two weeks.
