Two charged with drugs offences in Kendal

Two men from Manchester have been charged with drugs offences after a car crashed into a police car in Kendal on Friday.

27-year old Billy John Carl Johnson of Reginald Street, Eccles in Manchester and 26-year old Stephen Ayrey of The Gardens, Eccles, have been charged with possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply and handling stolen goods.

Johnson faces a further charge of dangerous driving.

The charges follow a car crash, where a car collided with a police car and two parked vehicles in Kirkland, Kendal at about 11.45am on Friday.
