This Evening and Tonight:

It will stay mainly cloudy overnight with some further spots of light drizzly rain, especially over the Pennines.

The cloud should keep things largely frost-free, though some clear breaks may develop towards dawn. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Wednesday:

After a cloudy start for many with perhaps the odd spot of rain, some sunny spells will develop through the morning.

Largely dry in the afternoon, but cooler than Tuesday. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Often dry on Thursday and Friday but cloudy at times with the odd shower, and overnight frosts.

Wet and windy on Saturday, risk of some snow, mainly over hills.
