A shop's opened in Penrith that promises to use no plastic, and has a zero-waste policy.

The idea behind Another Weigh is that customers can fill their own containers with goods that then get weighed.

It sells everything from cereals to plastic-free straws and nappies.

All profits will go to an educational charity. associated with the shop.

"I've got young children and I'm worried about their future. So I changed to re-useable nappies at home, reusable straws when we go out and about but then I go and do my food shop and I look in my basket and it was just full of the crinkle plastic you can't recycle so we had to do something about it."
