The Prime Minister has held talks with northern Lincolnshire's four MPs on how to improve the area's economy.
Cleethorpes MP Martin Vickers described it as an 'excellent meeting' in which David Cameron discussed investment in renewable energy, City Deals, rail improvements and calls to upgrade the A15 between Scunthorpe and Lincoln.
The Conservative MP also said they raised the possibility of a feasibility study into electrification of the rail route from Doncaster to Immingham and Cleethorpes.
He was very keen to hear about our key priorities and for us to update him on what was happening on the development of the Humber as a renewables hub. He also wanted to know what we needed him to do to push this agenda forward. As a result he agreed to take up a number of issues we raised with him and we look forward to his support on them. "
