Britain's most badly injured surviving soldier laid a wreath in his home town of Doncaster today on his new full size prosthetic legs.

Ben Parkinson has been recovering from over 40 injuries he got in a bomb blast in Afghanistan eight years ago.

He has gone on to make a miraculous recovery and commemorated those who have fallen in Doncaster on his new, full size legs and in his full military uniform.

Ben was also joined by soldiers who had battled in WWII at the service.

He held hands alongside 93-year-old Reginald Drainer in the South Yorkshire town.
