Super League: Countdown to the 2016 season

The 21st instalment of rugby league's premier club competition kicks off this Thursday when the current Super League champions the Leeds Rhinos take on Warrington at Headingley.

In fact, the Rhinos swept the boards last season, not only claiming a record 7th Super League crown but also completing a domestic treble of League Leaders Shield and Challenge Cup.

But without inspirational trio Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai the new look Rhinos, now led by Danny Maguire, will have a tough job repeating last seasons heroics:
