Mother's appeal 12 years on to find killer gang members

The mother of a teenager who was stabbed to death in Leeds 12 years ago is making a fresh appeal to find his killers.

Tyrone Clarke was attacked by a 20-strong gang of men in Beeston. Four people were convicted of his murder, but it's hoped the fresh appeal will bring forward new information about the rest of the mob.

Hunted down by gang

Tyrone was just 16 when he was beaten then stabbed to death in an alleyway. Four men were convicted of his murder under the Joint Enterprise rule, even though they claimed that none of them had been singled out as the killer who struck the fatal blow. A judge at their trial said he'd been 'hunted down in broad daylight'.

Police hope that the passage of time and possibly a change in circumstances, or loyalties, could see people who may have information now coming forward. For Tyrone's mother, Lorraine Fraser, the nightmare goes on.
