Rock stars Biffy Clyro performed an intimate charity gig for a lucky few last night in Yorkshire.

Before the special acoustic gig, the band spoke to Calendar about headlining the North's biggest music festival- Leeds Fest, and gave advice to those wanting to follow in their footsteps.

The Scottish three piece Simon Neil, Ben Johnson, and James Johnson have performed sell out arena tours all over the world.

Last night they traveled to Leeds city centre to play to 100 hand picks fans.

During the set they played new material from their seventh album 'Ellipsis' and the classics "The Captain and Black Chandelier. "

The gig raised money for Martin House Hospice, a charity which Melvin Benn, the man behind Leeds Festival, says was the obvious choice to benefit from the event:
