A team of cyclists riding to Rio in tribute to the late inspirational Jane Tomlinson have reached a major milestone in their near-3,000 mile challenge.
The team, which includes Jane’s husband Mike, TV presenter Charlie Webster and ex-Rugby League star Paul Highton, have clocked up a staggering 1,123 miles from London to Lisbon. The amazing journey has taken the hardy team just 17 days – with only one rest day.
Over the years, many charities have benefitted from the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
One of those which will receive help thanks to the Ride To Rio is Rugby League Cares.
