The family of a truck driver who died while working in Europe is faced with trying to raise thousands of pounds to bring his body back home.

Paul Stanyard from Wakefield was found dead in his cab in Italy, but his company's insurance does not cover the cost of repatriating him because he died of natural causes.

"The truck's now moving delivering goods again and Paul is still laid on a mortuary slab just outside Ancona."

Matthews International Transport said it has offered £5000 to help pay for repatriation.
