Burst water main in Mablethorpe causes chaos for residents and drivers
A burst water main has caused significant flooding to a main road through Mablethorpe.
Part of High Street had to be closed off after water cascaded through the street and spilled onto pavements.
Lincolnshire police said they were made aware of the problem at 6pm on Saturday.
One property had its back and front garden flooded as a result.
Residents have described being soaked by flood water as cars passed through.
Others have been frustrated by a partial road closure in the town.
Local resident Peter Gregory filmed the incident when it happened yesterday.
Anglian Water thanked householders for their patience as engineers worked to repair the pipes.
