The 21-year-old, who was born in Swaziland, has so far made 38 appearances for Huddersfield and is expected to challenge new signing Adam O'Brien for the hooking role in Super League in 2017.

"Kruise is going to play a big part this season.

"He has really put in a terrific performance in pre-season this year and has probably been our stand-out trainer. He has prepared himself as well as he can and he definitely deserves the club's confidence going forward that he can be a major player with the club for the next few years."
