Aaron Mooy signs for Huddersfield Town in club record deal
Huddersfield Town has completed the permanent signing of reigning Player of the Year Aaron Mooy.
Town has paid a record fee of £8 million to Manchester City for the Australian international, with additional fees that could see the deal rise to £10 million.
26-year old Aaron was a key figure for the Terriers as the team gained promotion to the Premier League for the first time via the Play-Offs.
Mooy scored four times and seven assists during his season long loan at the John Smiths Stadium.
He has put pen to paper on a contract running until 2020, having returned to England after playing for Australia in the Confederations Cup in Russia.
Huddersfield Town also has the option to extend that contract by a further season.
Meanwhile head coach David Wagner has signed a new contract keeping him at the club until 2019.
