Bereaved families welcome compromise over grave mementoes

Bereaved families have welcomed a proposal to overturn a decision which forced them to remove mementoes from the graves of loved ones.

Earlier this year families complained that items were being removed without their permission. The town council near Skegness explained it was for health and safety reasons, and to allow the maintenance of plots.

Today though plans for a compromise have been revealed - much to the relief of affected famlies. Kate Hemingway reports:.
