The court heard Morton, who was obsessed with choking women during sex, killed Ms Pearson in a bedroom at his home in July last year.

Nottinghamshire Police received a call from Morton, stating he had killed somebody. Officers rushed to the scene and began CPR on Ms Pearson, who was unresponsive, while they waited for ambulance to arrive.

Despite the efforts of emergency services the teenager from Marston near Grantham, was pronounced dead.
