An historic Bradford-based clothing retailer has gone into administration, potentially putting more than 300 jobs at risk.
Greenwoods Menswear Limited, founded in 1860, has more than 60 stores throughout the UK, and employs 318 people.
Administrators from Deloitte LLP say “challenging” conditions in the UK’s retail sector had affected the company.
The Company is a retailer of formal and casual menswear, including shoes and accessories, with a £20m turnover. It also offers a formal suit hire service, under the Company’s “1860” brand.
Joint administrator Adrian Berry said no redundancies were being announced 'at this stage'.
